Six players from Club Sport Herediano secured their ticket to the Qatar 2022 World Cup

This Thursday, Luis Fernando Suárez , technical director of the Costa Rican National Team, revealed the list of players who have secured their place in the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

The Costa Rican club that will have the most players at the World Cup is Club Sport Herediano with six selected players, forming the base of the national team.

The Herediano players called up are: Anthony Contreras, Douglas López, Gerson Torres, Keysher Fuller, Esteban Alvarado and Yeltsin Tejeda.

This is the official list of the 26 players called up:

GOALKEEPERS: Keylor Navas, Esteban Alvarado, Patrick Sequeira

DEFENDERS: Francisco Calvo, Juan Pablo Vargas, Kendall Waston, Óscar Duarte, Daniel Chacón, Keysher Fuller, Carlos Martínez, Bryan Oviedo, Ronald Matarrita

MIDFIELDERS: Celso Borges, Yeltsin Tejeda, Youstin Salas, Roan Wilson, Gerson Torres, Douglas López, Jewison Bennett, Álvaro Zamora, Anthony Hernández, Brandon Aguilera, Bryan Ruíz

FORWARDS: Joel Campbell, Anthony Contreras, Johan Venegas
