ALEXIS RAPTIS IS A STAR IN THE CROSSFIT GAMES
Athlete Alexis Raptis kicked off the NOBULL CrossFit Games leading the women's individual overall standings on opening day in Madison. Three events marked the start of the competition for both the women and men of the CrossFit elite.
On the first day, Raptis finished in fifth position in both the bicycle test and the "inverted medley" event and achieved a third place in the "pig chipper" event, in which the athletes had to perform pig flips, cest to bar, toes to bar and wall balls.

On the second day, Alexis achieved a time of 17 minutes and 35 seconds in the "Apaca Redux" event, securing third place in her heat. In test five, the American was unable to complete the workout, which shifted her position on the leaderboard, dropping her to fifth place, still placing her among the top five so far.
The Training Think Tank athlete finished her day in third place with 458 points after completing the final event in a time of eight minutes 40 seconds.
