This is how Justin Medeiros prepared for the 2022 CrossFit Games

The renowned American athlete Justin Medeiros became a crowd favorite by winning the 2021 CrossFit Games and taking the title of The Fittest On Earth . For this reason, he trained even harder this year to win this title for the second year in a row, and he succeeded.

Having won this title again, people became more interested in Medeiros' preparation for the most important CrossFit event.

In a brief interview with Men's Health magazine, the athlete said that he begins his routine with running exercises, where he focuses and concentrates on speed and agility, followed by field work that consists of alternating 15-second sled pushes and 5-meter walks.

The session ends with the achievement of a PR of 30 yards in handstands.

After this, he returns to the gym for a more standard CrossFit workout in the form of a 40-minute EMOM (every minute, on the minute) workout that includes:

  • 15 calories on the Echo bike
  • 5 d-ball cleans and 17 calories on the rowing machine
  • After that, he tests his full-body control and stability with an obstacle course in a gym similar to American Ninja Warrior.
"I love it when people underestimate me... I think it's the best thing about it. Obviously, I know what I'm capable of, and people can think whatever they want," Medeiros told Men's Health.
