10-year-old table tennis player triumphs in Europe by winning historic trophy
Congratulations! Table tennis player Lucca Lob triumphed in Europe by winning a historic trophy by finishing third in the ITTF WTT YOUTH CONTENDER World Tour based in Slovakia.
This tournament is considered the most important on the children's circuit; currently, Lucca is ranked #11 in the world children's ranking in the under-11 category.
In the quarterfinals, The Costa Rican player defeated Kuzey Gundogdu of Turkey 3-1. He then faced Abdul Rahanm of Saudi Arabia , finishing his participation with a 3-0 victory.
According to the Costa Rican Table Tennis Federation (FECOTEME), his coach in this competition said that Lucca showed great progress thanks to all the maturity he has accumulated this year, in the end he managed to reach his fourth podium, three for America (Gold, Silver and Bronze) and 1 in Europe with bronze in terms of World Circuits.
