Costa Rican cyclist crowned Central American time trial champion

Pride! Road cyclist Milagro Mena Solano was crowned Central American time trial champion this past Friday, October 14th in Pérez Zeledón.

The Costa Rican was crowned champion in the elite female category, taking the win with a time of 41:05 , second place went to the Panamanian Wendy Ducreux with 42:45 and in third place the Costa Rican María Sánchez with 43:44.

On her social media, Mena highlighted her happiness at winning at home and dedicated the win to her mother. 

"Winning at home is always good, but winning on my mother's birthday, the birthday of the person who has given everything to be my unconditional support, is worth even more."
