Costa Rica will participate in the first Central American and Caribbean Sea and Beach Games

Costa Rica will attend the first edition of the Central American and Caribbean Sea and Beach Games Santa Marta 2022, a competition that will take place from November 19 to 25 in Colombia.

The event will feature 11 sports disciplines and is expected to have 900 athletes participating.

The National Olympic Committee (NOC) announced that athletes from beach tennis, surfing, beach volleyball, and skateboarding will be participating. Costa Rica will send a delegation of 16 athletes.

The event will feature the participation of Aruba, Barbados, Belize, Cuba, Curacao, Dominica, El Salvador, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, US Virgin Islands, Jamaica, Martinique, Mexico, Panama, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela, Colombia and Costa Rica.
