HISTORIC DEBUT FOR COSTA RICAN CHICHO QUESADA AT THE CROSSFIT GAMES
Costa Rican athlete Chicho Quesada made history on his first day of competition in Madison. With a 235-lb snatch and a 325-lb clean and jerk, Quesada secured second place with a total of 560 pounds in his first CrossFit Games event in the 40-44 age group.

In the second event, Quesada managed to finish the WOD in a time of 16:45:25 to place himself in fifth place among all those in his category.

Event three followed, in which the athletes had to perform a Helen workout, a WOD that undoubtedly required very demanding movements for the Costa Rican, who consistently maintained fourth and third place in his heat. The final round arrived, and in a thrilling finish, Chicho managed to secure second place in his heat with a time of 7:30:03. With this final event, the Costa Rican athlete finished in third place overall in his category.
