Bodybuilder Chris Bumstead uses these quadriceps and hamstring workouts to increase their size

Canadian Chris Bumstead is a professional IFBB ( International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness) bodybuilder and is currently the reigning Classic Physique Olympia champion.

Bumstead was runner-up in this competition in 2017 and 2018 and winner of the competition in 2019, 2020 and 2021.

He hopes to win his fourth title in this great competition this year, which is why he has been training hard to achieve it.

The Canadian shared his routine with the renowned magazine Men's Health, where he performs exercises to increase the size of his quadriceps and hamstrings.

Heating: elliptical trainer

-Lying leg curl and hip abduction machine

-Leg press on the Cyber Squat Press machine

-Lumbar extensions

-Leg extensions and sissy squats

-Standing and seated calf raises

"Before, my training used to start with quadriceps, but now I've switched to hamstrings because it warms up my knees better. And I'm using the squat press because it more naturally recreates the squat movement and puts less stress on the joints, taking weight off my back as well. And, towards the end of the routine, the mind-muscle connection is stronger, at least in my experience," Bumstead shared.
