Unstoppable! Another victory for Yokasta Valle

Unstoppable! The Costa Rican continues to make history in the ring.

The Cartago Sports Complex hosted boxer Yokasta Valle , who faced Anabel "La Avispa" Ortiz. The International Boxing Federation (IBF) and World Boxing Organization (WBO) titles remained in the hometown.

After completing 10 rounds, the judges made their final decision, in which the national fighter unanimously won.

A rather complicated fight for both athletes, in the eighth jump the national was close to "knocking out" the Mexican, who was unable to defeat the Costa Rican.

“Ever since she was champion and I wasn’t, I always wanted to fight her, because she is a dangerous, very good fighter, whom I respect a lot,” Yokasta said.
