Amazing! Norwegian child prodigy runs 10 kilometers in under 35 minutes

Incredible! At just 12 years old, August Halle Haugen became a child prodigy and a great Norwegian athlete, running 10 kilometers in less than 35 minutes.

Last November, Haugen, at just 11 years old, ran 10 kilometers in 34:44 in the Rekordløpet competition, leaving the world of athletics speechless, as it represented a National Under-12 Record.

Now, 10 months later and at 12 years old, he broke his own record by registering a total time of 34:03 in the Oslo 10K Marathon. At the 5K mark, he was running at 17:26.

While these are impressive records, the world record for the 10 kilometers for 12-year-old runners is held by Australian Kobe Stewart with a time of 33:08, which he achieved on October 24, 2020 in Sydney.
