Kenneth Tencio finishes his 2022 season within the top 10 of the world rankings
Costa Rican pride! Renowned BMX freestyle athlete Kenneth Tencio finished his 2022 season ranked #8 in the world, placing him among the best on the planet.
In December, Tencio competed in his last tournament at the Abu Dhabi World Championships, where he finished ninth. Thanks to this result and his performance in the three World Cups (France, Belgium, and Australia), he earned a total of 2530 points in the global ranking.
In an Instagram post, Tencio shared how incredible his year was both on a sporting and personal level, and also expressed his eagerness for the opening of the new Bac Park 10cio.
"It was an incredible year, and it's only going to get better when our new Bac Park 10cio, which is currently under construction, is ready. We're doing the hard work now so we can focus solely on training in 2023," Tencio wrote.
