Herediano shows no mercy! Herediano maintains its unbeaten record against Saprissa
The Herediano fans didn't give up! This Sunday, September 18th, Club Sport Herediano played against Deportivo Saprissa at their home stadium and managed to remain undefeated in the tournament, ending the match with a 1-1 draw.
At 29 minutes into the game, Kendall Watson scored the first goal for the purple team; likewise, the footballer was sent off in the 79th minute for a second yellow card.
However, after a very close game, Herediano tied the game in the 74th minute with a great goal by Arturo Campos.
The team remains the leader in the overall standings with a total of 30 points, 9 wins and three draws.
Officially, the Florenses become the first team to qualify for the semifinals of the tournament.
