LUNA ALPIZAR DOES IT AGAIN! LEADER OF THE “ENDURE THE COLISEUM” EVENT

This Thursday, August 3rd, marked the start of the final day of competition for the Costa Ricans. Athlete José Pablo Luna once again secured first place in his heat at the "Endure the Coliseum" event. Skiers, bikes, and double unders were the movements featured in this test.

Luna dominated this event with ease and effectiveness, achieving
finishing with a time of 12 minutes 59 seconds, gaining a sufficient advantage
Regarding his rivals, the young man held sixth place in the overall standings for his category. Meanwhile, bar muscle-ups and dumbbell squat snatches were the focus of the Madison final. The athlete from San Carlos completed the WOD in three minutes and 43 seconds, finishing in eighth place. With a total of 400 points, the Costa Rican secured sixth place out of 10 competitors in the overall standings for the 14-15 age group.

The support, words of encouragement, and pride of an entire nation for Luna were undoubtedly felt. She brought honor to Costa Rica in the most important CrossFit competition.
