Costa Rican swimmer Alondra Ortiz broke new historical records at the University of Houston

Pride! Costa Rican swimmer Alondra Ortiz breaks three new historic records at the University of Houston in the Phill Hansel Invitational tournament, held at the CRWC Natatorium, which took place from December 18 to 20.

The 20-year-old athlete achieved the sixth best historical mark in the individual 200-yard medley event with a time of 2:00.80 , with which she won silver.

Alondra achieved first place in the individual 400-yard medley with a time of 4:16.39, with this time, she became the third best in the history of the program.
In the last event, the Costa Rican athlete achieved a mark of 1:58.17 in the 200-yard butterfly event, which is the third best in the history of Houston sports teams.
