Noah Ohlsen broke the world record for the "Fran" workout in 1:49 min

Impressive! Renowned CrossFit Games athlete Noah Ohlsen broke the world record for one of the toughest workouts, "Fran" , with a time of 1:49.

The American broke this record while recording his Wodapalooza team online qualifier. In the first phase of the 3-person team qualifier, each teammate had to complete a workout: Jackie, Karen, and Fran.

Ohlsen was assigned Fran and managed to do it two seconds faster than the previous record held by Ricky Tyler Moore , who in 2018 did it with 1:51.

The American magazine "Morning Chalk Up" shared the top four records of "Fran" that have been recorded over the years.

When we heard the news, we searched the internet for "Fastest French Times". This is what good old Google came up with:

  • 1:53 Henry Sailes (2016)
  • 1:51 Ricky Tyler Moore (2018)
  • 1:53 Marisa Diane Flowers ( 2020)
  • 1:49 Noah Ohlsen (2022)

Five-time CrossFit Games champion Mat Fraser recorded a time of 2:07.
