National cycling team wins 12 medals at Central American Mountain Bike Championship

Congratulations! The Costa Rican cycling team won a total of 12 medals at the Central American Mountain Bike (MTB) Championship, which took place Saturday, November 12th and Sunday, November 13th in Honduras.

The athletes won a total of seven gold medals, four silver medals, and one bronze medal. Medal-winning athletes:

  • Isabella Gomez - under-23
  • Marisol García - youth
  • Jared Mendez - youth
  • Adriano González - pre-teen
  • Nethan Quirós - children's

  • Paolo Montoya - men's elite
  • Adriana Rojas - female elite
  • Sebastián Brenes - under-23
  • Yiryel Piñar - youth
Bronze medals
  • Dylan Quirós - youth

The Costa Rican Cycling Federation (Fecoci) reported this data on its Facebook page. They also highlighted that the most outstanding cyclist of the tournament was Costa Rican Milagro Mena , who dominated the elite women's category.
