Tico "Chicho" Quesada obtained an important second place in Wodapalooza 2023

Pride! Costa Rican Esteban Quesada, popularly known as "Chicho", obtained his first podium at Wodapalooza this 2023 in the Master 40-44 years category.

Chicho faced off against great athletes in this discipline and managed to take an important second place in one of the most important competitions in the world of CrossFit, thanks to his discipline and effort.

He also expressed his pride in having won this silver medal.

"It's very comforting to know that the work we're doing is paying off. It's a sign that we're on the right track, a sign that it is possible to compete at the highest level. I feel blessed, grateful, and proud," Chicho commented.

The Costa Rican started in this sport in 2017 and has managed to qualify twice for this great event, which took place in Miami, United States from January 12 to 15.

"For me, this result is a victory that sums up all the losses I've experienced. Learning from our mistakes is one of the best ways to improve. I was able to put into practice the things I learned a month ago in Legends," Chicho explained.

Similarly, the athlete told us that his next goal this year is to qualify for the CrossFit Games in the 40-44 age category.

In 2022, she reached the semifinals, but she didn't earn enough points to qualify for the Games. We wish her the best of luck in 2023.
