Costa Ricans Steven Román and Aneth Araya qualify for the World Adapted Table Tennis Championships

Congratulations! Costa Rican athletes Aneth Araya and Steven Román have qualified for the World Adapted Table Tennis Championship, which will take place from November 6 to 12 in Granada, Spain.

This great news was officially announced by International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), after publishing the list of participants in the competition.

This will be Steven's second world championship, where he will compete against 18 other para-athletes in his category. The young man posted on his social media how happy he is with the news and how grateful he is to everyone who supports him.

"I'm very happy to announce that I've qualified for my second World Championship, and I want to thank everyone who supports me and makes all of this possible," said Román.

On the other hand, this will be Aneth's first world championship, where she will compete against 15 other para-athletes in her category. She also expressed her gratitude on social media for the support she has received and how excited she is about this new goal in her life.

"Qualified for my first World Championship in Spain, Granada 2022. Thankful to God for giving me this opportunity and grateful to all the people who supported me to achieve this important goal for me," Aneth expressed.
