Yokasta Valle was internationally declared the best female boxer in the world in 2022

Costa Rican pride! Oscar de la Hoya's promoter , "Golden Boy Promotion," named Costa Rican Yokasta Valle as the best female boxer of 2022 worldwide.

This year, the Costa Rican had a dream competition, because she fought 5 times where she defended her 105 lbs title of the International Boxing Federation (IBF), and obtained the World Boxing Organization (WBO) belt at 105 pounds.

To end the year, Valle took two world titles in the 108 lbs from Argentina's Evelyn Bermúdez.

"My Christmas present from Golden Boy arrived, and this definitely motivates me even more for 2023. I want to keep training hard to continue bringing joy to Costa Rica. They've been surprised since the first fight we had here in our country, seeing the support of all Costa Ricans, and now, seeing that I fight consistently and consistently, they're showing great interest in seeing me fight in the coming months," Valle said after winning this great title.
